Japan getting Final Fantasy XIII demo
In April, we hear
Now don't get too jealous, but word reaches us on the wires this morning that a demo of Final Fantasy XIII will be delivered by Square Enix on the 16th of April. In Japan.
IGN reveal that Japanese gamers will basically have to pay for the trial version of the new RPG, as it'll come bundled with the new Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete movie set.
The PS3 only demo is of undetermined size and content, but what is clear is that it won't be released anywhere else at this stage. That said, it won't be region-locked either, so if you start brushing up on that Japanese...
Final Fantasy XIII should reach Japan this year, but debuts abroad look more likely for 2010 - on both the PS3 and Xbox 360. More soon.
