Wii Music set for US schools
New Deal
A number of US schools are set to start using Wii Music as a new educational aid, according to news from Nintendo this week.
Apparently, Wii Music will become an integral part of the curriculum in some schools, which must go down as quite a coup for the Japanese game maker.
"The goal of Wii Music is to inspire people of all ages to enjoy music," beamed executive VP, Cammie Dunaway.
"By partnering with educators and bringing Wii Music into their classrooms, we hope to give students a memorable, hands-on experience that helps them discover their own creative voice."
Apparently, the game will be used as an exciting way to teach music standards quickly, the title also helping students "to use language skills, spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination," according Helen A. Krofchick, a music teacher from Doby’s Mill Elementary School in South Carolina.
