First-party hits excelled over Christmas
Game offer festive cheer
UK retailer Game have been talking up their festive performance this week, revealing that there was major demand for first-party titles on all formats.
Mario Kart and Wii Wit apparently led the Wii's festive frenzy, LittleBigPlanet proving popular on the PS3 and Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 doing good business for the Xbox 360.
On the DS, Brain Training and Professor Layton were most sought after.
Apparently UK and Ireland sales rocketed 10% for the gaming chain. Recession who?
