Valve open huge Steam sale
Big discounts off the peg
The UK's retailers may be desperately slashing prices post-Christmas in a bid to squeeze a few more sovereigns from the embattled economy, and it appears that Valve are joining them - the game maker announcing a raft of Steam deals.
The Steam Holiday Sale began on Friday, and will run until the 2nd of January, with every game on the PC online store marked down by between 10% and 75%.
Left 4 Dead is a bargain with 25% off, while BioShock can be yours for a paltry 4.99 USD, which is frankly insulting for a game so exquisite. Portal is also going for a snip.
All Ubisoft and THQ's games are available at 25% off prices, while some of 2K's games offer even heavier discounts.
Head over to Steam to bag a bargain.
