DSi still dominates Japanese sales
Nintendo lead the Christmas way
With Christmas now all but upon us, Japanese hardware sales continued their steep overall climb in the week ending December 14th, however it was still the DSi that leads the pack by a comfortable margin.
During last week's pre-festive shopping splurge, sales of the new DS console topped 173,000, the Wii far-off in second with 91,000.
In third place with 71,000 is the PSP - still selling remarkably well compared to other markets - while the PS3 was a distant fourth with over 33,000.
The DS Lite was still in the race with 31,000, the Xbox 360 penultimately arriving with 11,000. Last was the PS2 with 6,000.
