It is Christmas, so I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but the fact is that have this morning confirmed that the new Knothole Island for 2 has been pushed back into the new year.

Word on the new pack's Xbox.com page confirms that this extra content for Lionhead's will now be released in late 2009.

The DLC was planned for release on December 22nd. Blast and indeed drat.
