Reports online this morning reveal that 2 will be released in after all, overturning a ban and earning an MA15+ certification.

Australia's censors are of course infamously conservative, a number of big-name games failing to secure releases previously. Now the ban has been over-turned, a release in February 2009 can go ahead as planned.

The OFLC agreed to allow the release to go ahead after Warner appealed to Australian Classification Review Board who will even allow the title to launch without cuts.

This isn't the first time the Aussie censors' judgement has been questioned. More on this soon.
