Fallout 3 is arguably the most celebrated release of the season, but Bethesda's long-awaited wasn't so well received on the PlayStation 3, that particular version of the game apparently mired in bugs.

Online forums have been going bezerk over the tribulations experienced here, and in response the developer today launches a a new patch which looks to sort some of the 'issues'.

Apparently, the new update will be installed when you put in your game disc in your PS3; the patch also sorting Trophies. haven't commented on this fix, yet.

Anecdotal reports already suggest that this patch is 'unfreezing' several stuck players, so it seems Bethesda may be turning things around.
