Last Remnant set for PC in the spring
In Europe, that is
Square Enix's new RPG, The Last Remnant, may only just be hitting consoles but we this morning learn that the game is already in development for the PC - with a release in spring 2009 on the cards.
We hear talk of Squenix revising the battle system - presumably because of the nuances of the platform - while this date apparently covers PAL regions, like the UK and Europe.
"The Last Remnant represents a significant step in bringing our titles to a global audience and to all fans regardless of the platforms that they own. Following the Xbox 360 release, we hope to reach a new audience with the Games for Windows version of The Last Remnant and I hope that fans enjoy this exciting new adventure," enthuses John Yamamoto, big boss-man.
