Veteran game maker Will Wright, the man credited with creating and the Sims, has revealed to Joystiq that he is hard at work on a new project.

Apparently, Wright was chatting about his new game at yesterday's Video Game Awards stateside, although he couldn't be lured into revealing what exactly it is he is working on.

"I’m working on a big new project that I’m very excited about, but I don’t want to talk about it yet because if it takes three years to come out I don’t want people saying ‘Wow, he’s been talking about that for a loooong time,’" quipped the acclaimed designer.

Meanwhile, are beavering away on new content releases for Spore. We'll sniff around and see what we can dig up.
