DSi leads the way in Japan
Ninty dominates again
Its Friday, and you know what that means. No, it isn't "burger day" at the Lamb and Flag, rather it's the day the Japanese reveal their weekly hardware sales figures. As with last week's digits, the DSi leads the charge.
According to the latest figures from monitors Media Create, the DSi is stretching its legs with Christmas approaching, sales passing 126,000 units during last week's activity.
More good news for Nintendo arrives with word that the Wii console is second in the chart, sales topping 56,000, the PSP just pipped to third with an impressive 54,000.
Fourth is the PS3, some way off the pace but still chugging along, with 30,000, while the original DS manages 12,000 ahead of the Xbox 360's 10,000.
Last is the PS2 with somewhat over 5,000 sales.
