EA reveal Wii-bating NASCAR Kart Racing
Publisher goes into casual overload
Electronic Arts look set to go after Mario Kart's audience, as they today lift the lid on a colourful new racer for the Wii console, NASCAR Kart Racing.
Family friendly aesthetics a-go-go in the new karting title, which will sport cutesy visuals likely to appeal to those illusive casual players - who are picking up the Wii in their droves.
Playing the role of a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver, you'll be taking on a broad range of implausible landscapes, not to mention several very-plausible real NASCAR circuits.
10 characters will be available to choose from, with unique skills impacting your performance.
Split-screen fun will be included and it will be interesting to see whether EA can really mimic Mario Kart's lovable gameplay. Or whether they can't. More shortly.
