Japanese still buying DSi en masse
The latest Japanese hardware sales numbers arrive this morning, the Wii and the PS3 surging as Christmas nears, while the DSi holds onto the number one spot in the land of the rising sun.
The DSi maintains its strong debut with sales last week in excess of 87,000, the PSP a solid but distant second with just over 55,000.
Third is the Wii with just under 50,000 sales, the PS3 fourth with nearly 35,000. Next up is the DS Lite still selling well with 26,000, followed by the Xbox 360, keeping it respectable with over 11,000.
Last and probably least is the PS2, with sales over 5,000.
