Age of Conan still heading for Xbox 360
Funcom stick to the plan
Funcom's popular new MMO Age of Conan is still in the works for the Xbox 360 console, we hear, despite the PC version of the new title taking centre-stage for the time being.
Product manager Erling Ellingsen told MTV that the title is still making good development progress, in spite of lay-offs at the Scandinavian developer.
"Our aim is for this to not affect development of Age of Conan, or any of our other games, at all. We are sticking firmly to our plans," Ellingsen offered.
"The Xbox 360 version of the game is still in production, but as before we are not committing to any specific dates. I wish I could give you more information, but I can’t at the time being."
A release in 2009 is planned.
