Newly acquired World in Conflict creators Massive Entertainment are set work on new titles for publisher following their purchase. That's the word from Ubi boss on the acquisition.

Ubisoft have been eying the MMO genre for some time now, and speaking at a conference yesterday, Guillemot revealed that Ubisoft will enter the sector through Massive.

"We just bought it from them since those guys have so they didn’t need that studio as much as we do, and those guys are extremely strong in RTS, so they are going to help us also get closer to the MMO space," offered Yves.

"Our goal there is to go first with light MMOs…that have been extremely popular in but are also coming in the U.S. and and are generating lots of good revenue, so our goal is first to start with light MMOs, and then in the future also come with and RTS, also in the MMO space."

More on this soon.
