Roper talks Champions Online efforts
Bill Roper, newly appointed at Cryptics Studios and hard at work on new MMO Champions Online, has said he's learnt several important lessons from the failure of Hellgate: London, his debut and only release at the now defunct FlagShip Studios.
"I'm looking forward not only to bringing what I've learned from the numerous successes I've worked on to Cryptic and Champions Online, but also what I learned from the failures," Roper revealed, speaking on Cryptic's official site.
Roper also wants to add crafting to the existing experience, and is generally helping Cryptic polish key areas of the title.
"Bringing social and community aspects into the game is something that we never got right in Hellgate and I'd like to correct that moving forward," he continues.
The new MMO will be released next year on the PC and Xbox 360.
