Oddworld appointment hints at game progress
Ex-Brash exec joins Lanning
A new Oddworld game could be making accelerated progress, if a new high profile appointment at Oddworld Inhabitants is anything to go by. Former Brash chief creative officer Larry Shapiro has joined as president of the game maker, according to veteran Oddworlder Lorne Lanning.
Lanning has of course already confirmed that a brand new Oddworld title is in the works, but this news perhaps hints that the game might be progressing more rapidly now.
"No one is more in stride with us than Larry. We both see the same future landscape," Lanning enthused, according to Variety.
"It’s a petty radical departure from the contemporary landscape. While we think there’s a number of barriers to break through, we think there are tremendous opportunities on the other side of the barrier."
