New Red Faction pushed back by THQ
Delays, damned delays
US publisher THQ has pushed back a couple of their large releases, Darksiders: Wrath of War, and Red Faction: Guerrilla.
The heavily backed new games were originally due for release before April 2009, but now we hear the games won't make it to our shelves before the end of 2009, as THQ shift the releases into their 2010 financial year.
Word of the delay came in THQ's latest financial briefing, at which the firm confessed to a loss of 115.3 million USD.
THQ has already confirmed that five studios will close as they look to cut costs, with 250 game makers made redundant as a result.
In more impressive news, THQ has now shipped two million copies of Saints Row 2 worldwide.
