Atari saves Ghostbusters
Out next summer
Atari have been confirmed as the saviours of Ghostbusters, weeks after the publisher was first rumoured to have picked up the game, discarded by Activision Blizzard after the VU Games merger.
The game has been without a publisher since the summer, but with Atari now backing the licensed action title, Variety now report that the game will be readied for stores in summer 2009, and will tap into celebration around the 25th anniversary of the film.
Beyond this exciting news, we hear that a new Riddick game will also be delivered by Atari - arriving next spring - and presumably once again starring Vin Diesel.
More on Riddick shortly.
