McGee plots kart racing MMO

Former id Software game designer American McGee has today revealed his new project, a Chinese kart racing MMO title, aimed at casual audiences.
The game will be made alongside Shanghai developer Spicy Horse, and it'll be called BaiJu Racer. Spicy Horse are also helping McGee craft Grimm - his other new project.
A unique Chinese-inspired art style is promised, and it appears the game will go head-to-head with Nexon's KartRider. A "timeless portrayal of everyday Chinese people and locations" is hinted.
McGee promises emotional drama, on top of skill-focussed racing, and while the game will initially be published in China we're expecting launches elsewhere eventually (once McGee has publishers sorted).
