Xbox 360 expecting big Christmas
Greenberg predicts victory
Speaking with gaming blog Kotaku, Microsoft exec Aaron Greenberg has said that the Xbox 360 is gearing up for a bumper Christmas season - the big cheese predicting that the 360 will beat the PS3 in this key sales period.
"We expect to continue our price advantage over the PlayStation 3 for a long time," Greenberg beamed.
"And we feel confident that we'll outsell the PS3 this holiday season in North America and in Europe. We'll do it on a global scale."
The price of the 360 was cut across the globe last month - prompting a sales surge which much have rattled Sony. For their part, the platform holder are still steadfastly refusing to cut the price of the PS3 system with Christmas looming ever nearer.
"We've grown our team and our infrastructure over the past year," Greenberg added on the subject of Xbox Live, which suffered numerous performance issues last year - the boss predicting a father smoother ride this Yuletide.
