LBP rescheduled in America
With LittleBigPlanet presently being extracted from retailers across the globe so Sony can remove potentially offensive Koranic 'expressions' from one of the game's musical tracks, conjecture abound about when the game will now launch.
Well, North American gamers now have an answer, Sony Computer Entertainment confirming that the game will be released the week of October 27th - which is sooner that we might have feared.
"We will begin shipping LittleBigPlanet to retail in North America the week of October 27th," offered SCEA's Patrick Seybold.
"Sorry for the delay, and rest assured, we are doing everything we can to get LittleBigPlanet to you as soon as possible."
Sony Computer Entertainment Australia, meanwhile, have promised all PS3 purchasers that they will get a copy of the game from October 23rd onwards. Quite what will become of this offer is a mystery...
