EA boss has admitted this week that he doesn't like measures - despite his firm having used the controversial SecuROM technology to protect titles like and previously.

Riccitiello however contends that '99.8%' of people don't even notice DRM, before going on to concede that the publisher are still "working out the kinks" of their protection initiatives.

"We implemented a form of DRM and it's something that 99.8 per cent of users wouldn't notice. But for the other 0.2 per cent it became an issue, and a number of them launched a cabal to protest against it.

"I personally don't like DRM. It interrupts the user experience. We would like to get around that, but there is this problem called out there," Riccitiello told Yahoo.

The exec promises that upcoming release Red Alert 3 will see less aggressive measures in place. What are your thoughts on this?
