Microsoft lacks faith in PC format
EndWar maker speaks out on studio closure
Speaking with blog VG247, EndWar creative director Michael de Plater has said that Ensemble Studios may not have been closed if Microsoft had faith in the future of the PC platform.

"I think it’s terrible, really a shame that Ensemble’s been shut," the Ubisoft Shanghai man said. "It’s really a bit of a shock… It just speaks of the problems with PC. I’m sure if people were confident of PC sales then Microsoft wouldn’t have done that."
EndWar won't be released on the PC at the same time as consoles, because the firm are worried piracy may dilute the impact of the other versions.
EndWar could head to the PC in the future, however.
