News just reaching us from the reveals that from today gamers can get their grubby mitts on a brand new for a paltry $99, which is more than a little reasonable - making a Cube available for little over half the cost of a or Xbox. will no doubt be hoping that this new bargain basement price will lift flagging sales, which could also be stoked by the arrival of the new Kart game. Nintendo might even have to start making the Cube again, once the new pricing helps retailers shift their heavily stock-piled supplies.

Lets hope Nintendo will offer bemused European gamers an early present in the shape of a to €99 here, too.

However, with pleasure there's always pain, and it's another hard blow for Nintendo as yesterday confirmed they had canned of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and Driver 3 on the Cube. Support has not been removed entirely however, but with Nintendo's main problem being one of poor third-party support, it's disappointing to see future Cube titles getting the chop.
