PopCap will launch a reinvention of their classic Bejeweled next month, we learn this morning - the developer revealing that their third iteration is inbound.

Called Bejeweled Twist, we're informed the game has taken a whopping three years, and as the title suggests it'll offer a new spin on the favourite formula.

The title will arrive on October 27th - and PopCap apparently won't be telling us any more on the game before this date.

"The game will be immediately recognizable to Bejeweled fans, and as accessible as earlier titles in the series, but with far more depth and flexibility," said Jason Kapalka, chief of PopCap.

Bejeweled is widely regarded as best-selling game ever. More as we get it.
