Eidos Montreal plot Thief 3
Sources confirm second project
Eidos Montreal may have already confirmed they are working on Deus Ex 3, but there's been a lot of conjecture surrounding the studio's second project - which has been rumoured in the past to be Thief 4.
A job ad for the studio earlier this year hinted at the identity of the new project, stating: "Eidos-Montreal is proud to announce the recruitment for our 2nd "AAA" project... A hint! The title begins with the letter 'T'".
Today, we hear further chatter on the grapevine from Canada, which confirms to us that Eidos are indeed working on a new Thief game alongside Deus Ex.
Official word from Eidos remains illusive, but it seems a sure-fire thing that a new Thief will step into the limelight sooner or later. Quite where the studio will take this once mighty Looking Glass franchise remains open to debate.
