Star Wars is still big business, of that we're certain, confirming today that their most recent release, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, has shifted a whopping 1.5 million copies since launch.

That's 1.5 million copies in just five days, folks, which LucasArts tell us is a new company record.

"The record-setting of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed shows the undiminished power of and its popularity across all media types, including video games," beamed LucasArts' prez Darrell Rodriguez, presumably busy ordering some gold.

He added: "We’re blown away by the response." We'll unleash our thoughts on this title very soon.
