Gaute Godage, one of the founding members of specialist developer Funcom, has quit the company admitting his dissatisfaction with current opus Age of Conan.

Anarchy Online game director Craig Morrison will be replacing Godage.

"I have done my very best making this fabulous game, but I have concluded there are elements which I am dissatisfied with," the veteran game maker laments.

"I have decided to act on this, and as a result I have chosen to leave Funcom."

He does however welcome Morrison's appointment, revealing his pride in and his confidence about Age of Conan's future.
