God of War III getting epic script

120 pages written to-date

Marianne Krawczyk, Sony's God of War III writer, has admitted that the PS3 exclusive's script may be as long as 120 pages.

Chatting with Gamasutra.com at GDC Austin, she said the dialogue and its implementation will require attentions, while Sony will ensure there are proper rehearsals for voice actors ahead of recordings.

Krawczyk says the title will be set over three acts, which she describes as "very specific" - hinting that an immense amount of planning is being invested in the narrative side of the new action-adventure epic.

God of War III is expected in 2009 - but with the festive season fast-looming it remains very much off the table for the time being.
