More news out of Blizzard's Analysts Day now, with word that CoD5 will include a feature called "Day One Advantage", which when purchasd "gives you the ability to accelerate your experience points".

This is part of a push to monetise gameplay. "The average player has spent nearly five full 24-hour days of their lives online since purchasing the game. Over time, we'll qualify more opportunities to increase the monetization of these activities," said Acti CEO Mike Griffith.

So buying an in-game advantage from a gold farmer is bad, but from the publicly traded publisher is alright? Cheating or gaining a legitimate advantage?

Call of Duty 5 is being developed by and will be released later this year.
