Grand Theft Auto Online boasts over 500 missions
New details have emerged sketching out the massive scope of Grand Theft Auto Online and it is collossal.
The new details have come from a preview of the game in this month's Game Informer magazine and it seems that Rockstar North has poured a massive amount of effort into Grand Theft Auto Online. GTA Online is set to launch on October the 1st and comes free with every copy of GTA V.
There are said to be over 500 missions to complete in the game with high end missions requiring proper planning phases and multiple crew members to complete.
During character creation player will be given the opportunity to define everything from choosing parents, to deciding what kind of co-curricular activities the character likes to engage in from base-jumping to vegging out on the couch in front of the TV.
As well as participating in a wide variety of illegal activities players can invite friends round to watch Rockstar-created TV shows or even see other friends engaged in high-speed chases with the cops. Befriending the in-game characters will allow players to move on up in criminal underworld locating better fences and getting better pay-offs from more dangerous and ambitious work.
And the aim of the game? Make as much money as you can to buy houses, cars, guns and whatever else takes your fancy. It seems that Los Santos really will be anyone's oyster come October the 1st.
