New Duke Nukem flick sighted
Max Payne producer helping deliver big-screen debut
Max Payne producer Scott Faye has been recruited by 3D Realms to deliver a Duke Nukem film to the silver screen.
The Duke will return in retrograde form to the Xbox Live Arcade this month, while the developer still continues work on Duke Nukem Forever.
"I'm working diligently at making a Duke Nukem movie scenario that will live up to the character and its import in the videogame world," Faye revealed to US blog Kotaku.
"As is the case with all of my game adaptations, I'd rather not make the movie than make a poor adaptation."
Max Payne will arrive this November in cinemas, and Faye will work with 3D Realms to ensure a faithful transition, which all parties hope can "expand" the reach of the IP.
The Duke isn't all out of gum after all, it would seem.
