Direct PSP Store looming
Japan getting new Store this autumn
Word on the street has it that Sony are about to launch a PSP Store that won't require a PS3 or a PC to access.
The 'direct access' PSP Store will be offered up to Japanese users this very autumn, we're told; reports indicating that the new iteration of the PlayStation Store will be with us this year.
We've no word on when said PSP Store might make it to Europe or America, but you can bet your bottom dollar we'll get there in the end.
Japanese PSP owners will also be given access to PSN online play, via a PS3, with the epic hit Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G among the very first games to work with this new online connectivity.
Lastly, Sony let slip this morning that Patapon 2 will hit Japan on November 27th. Hopefully we'll have more localised news on all this soon.
