Word on the street has it that are about to launch a Store that won't require a or a to access.

The 'direct access' PSP Store will be offered up to Japanese users this very autumn, we're told; reports indicating that the new iteration of the PlayStation Store will be with us this year.

We've no word on when said PSP Store might make it to or America, but you can bet your bottom dollar we'll get there in the end.

Japanese PSP owners will also be given access to play, via a PS3, with the epic hit Portable 2nd G among the very first games to work with this new online connectivity.

Lastly, Sony let slip this morning that Patapon 2 will hit on November 27th. Hopefully we'll have more localised news on all this soon.
