A new exclusive was revealed via Microsoft's Japanese media briefing yesterday.

The latest title created by is the game in question, Ninja Blade, and it'll be set amid the glistening structures of present day Tokyo - a Tokyo beset with zombies and other demonoids spawned from who knows where.

Online reports suggest a trailer was shown to the attending press, which showed a ninja chap riding over Tokyo on a plane, who then leaps from the craft, gliding into the city before running down the side of a skyscraper, dispatching monsters on the way.

We're promised a cinematic experience, that blends story and gameplay perfectly, and a release in 2009 is mooted.

"Unlike most games that bounce between slow-moving cut scenes and twitchy gameplay, Ninja Blade offers a seamless action-movie experience that keeps you in control," producer Masanori Takeuchi told IGN. 12-hours of seamless 'slashing' is predicted.
