PSP revision has shorter battery life
Brighter screen responsible
Sony Computer Entertainment's Leipzig-revealed revision of the PSP handheld, the PSP-3000, will actually suffer from shorter battery life than the current PSP model, the firm has conceded.
SCE America exec John Koller tells us that the brighter screen, which will make games on the new-look PSP shinier than ever, will actually result in shorter battery life too.
Koller admitted to GameSpot: "Battery life will decrease by a small amount, it’s about 20 minutes maybe 30 minutes and that’s because there’s a larger power draw with the brighter screen."
The new hardware will hit town on October 15th.
