Rebellion review cock-up

Dredd-ful

UK developer Rebellion, who's comic book inspired FPS Judge Dredd vs. Death is due out on all formats between October and November, were left reeling by the latest press feedback on the game; lambasting it's shortcomings. That was of course until it was spotted that versions of an older build had in fact been sent as final review code - rather than the completed title! Oh dear.

Of course, a certain amount of negative publicity has already been caused by the unfortunate coverage, however Rebellion are now confident that opinions will be altered by the correct and complete game the developer are now furnishing all publications with.

"Obviously this is a massive blow to us," commented CEO Jason Kingsley, "as we have been working on Dredd for a number of years and we have a great deal of faith in the game, backed up by the warm responses we have seen and had reports of from people who have played the correct versions. Our aim now is to make sure that all remaining review copies of the game to be sent out will be finished builds that offer an accurate picture of the quality of the game." Thanks to Eurogamer.net.
