Half-Life 2 on more than Xbox
Sony and Nintendo will be pleased to know
As the gaming world's fingers remain firmly crossed for a release of Valve's Half-Life 2 on the PC come the end of this month, a few further details have been let slip concerning future platforms for the developer's massive sequel. French games site Vossey.com got the scoop - discovering at last weeks ECTS event in London, that as well as the Xbox in 2004, Half-Life 2 will also be developed fore future generation consoles from both Sony and Nintendo. That's the Playstation 3 and the GameCube 2, to you and me.
Of course the Xbox will still have something of a lead over its rivals if it gets the sequel early next year as expected - with no new machines from Japan's major players expected until 2005/6.
More as we get it.
