Sony have revised their handheld platforms with a new device named the PSP 3000.

Rumoured recently the portable device looks very similar to the old PSP and uses an "enhanced" LCD screen that can display more colours and is better than the old screen when used indoors.

No word on any enhanced battery life yet, but tell us that the new microphone (possibly inspired by the innovate use of a mic on the DS?) can be used with Skype and Go!Messenger.

The device will for 199 Euros and is out on 15th October in eight different bundles.
