FIFA 09 updates player form weekly

EA's yearly FIFA title will feature weekly player statistic updating, allowing the game to mirror real world performance throughout the 2008/2009 season.
The feature named "adidas Live Season" will be available for selected leagues worldwide on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC incarnations of the game. The leagues involved are: Barclay’s Premier League, La Liga BBVA, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A and Mexican Primera Division. A global network of scouts are employed to assess performance and supply accurate data into the system. Impressive.
"This is an ambitious and completely unique feature that has never been attempted before for football videogames,” said Andrew Wilson, Vice President & Executive Producer for the franchise. "The game will feel and play differently each week. With adidas Live Season if Ronaldinho has a great match on the weekend you’ll feel the difference when you pick up the controller as his in-game attributes increase."
Expect a demo to play with on 11th September.
