Sony yesterday confirmed a November release date for their highly anticipated rally game - World Rally Championship 3, or WRC3 for short. The game is also, their press release confirms, the officially endorsed title of FIA. The Rally Championship's governing body. The game is developed by Evolution Studios, and all this official-ness will mean the following, we're told:

Featuring the official cars, drivers, rallies, updated liveries, sponsors, stages and countries of the 2003 rally season, including the all-new WRC event in Turkey, WRC 3 allows fans to experience the raw exhilaration of rallying long after the last car has passed the finishing line.
Naturally, a more realistic simulation than ever is being promised by both publisher and developer, so it'll be interesting to put their claims through their paces at the Playstation Experience, which, by the ridiculously loud-sound of things, has just kicked off next door.
