NetEase, one of China's raft of rapidly expanding developers and publishers, has posted a huge profit for the last financial year. Edge reveal the game maker made 63.9 million USD in the last year, compared to 45.6 million USD previously.

The firm's total turn-over was an impressive 104.4 million USD. "We experienced a strong second quarter due to solid execution in our gaming and businesses," said big cheese William Ding.

"We believe that China’s online gaming is in the midst of unprecedented growth and NetEase is very well positioned to benefit from this trend."

China's rise continues apace, it would seem.
