EyeToy Play: Hero discussed in Edinburgh

New motion-based game mooted

DarkZero are today reporting word from Edinburgh on the topic of EyeToy Play: Hero. We hear the new product will be released before Christmas - and will boast impressive 1:1 motion tracking.

Reports from Scotland indicate the game will offer more realistic motion-based gameplay, allowing you to track your sword at all times. We also hear that the game will be controlled from a first-person perspective, unlike previous EyeToy games.

The player's image will therefore not be displayed on-screen, while what we will see is a digital version of the player's sword; the camera peripheral set to track the player's actions in minute detail.
