StarCraft II, Battle.net head to China
Blizzard announce new deal
Local experts NetEase are partnering with Blizzard to deliver StarCraft II, and Blizzard's Battle.net multiplayer service, to China.
Alongside the big-hitting online service, and Blizzard's new RTS game, classic hits from the developer including Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne will also be released in the People's Republic.
The new deal will kick-off following StarCraft II's as-yet unknown release, and will run for three years.
"NetEase has been a leader in the Chinese game market, and we look forward to working with them to deliver high-quality entertainment to Chinese gamers," beamed Blizzard boss Mike Morhaime.
