Bungie hint at new Halo titles
In an acceptance speech beamed to Edge's Interactive Innovation Awards ceremony, which was held at the Edinburgh Interactive Festival yesterday evening, Bungie have hinted at more to come from the Halo franchise.
We already knew there was more to come, but the developer seem intent on teasing us anyway. The fight is, in fact, not 'finished'.
"Even though in Halo 3 you finished the fight, it doesn’t necessarily mean the ride’s over," Bungie offered in the speech sent over to Scotland.
While more Halo is mooted, it is suggested that the next title may not be a pure Halo 4, the studio offering: "Halo 4? Guys, Microsoft owns the IP now. Take it up with them. Have your people call their people."
Hopefully we'll learn more on Bungie and Microsoft's Halo plans soon; we'd just be happy to know what it was Bungie didn't get to reveal at E3 last month.
