A receptionist from south London's delightful Croydon has been blasted into super-stardom (ahem, really? - Ed) this week after picked Alison Carroll to be the new Lara Croft model.

Lovely Carroll will undertake various promotional events in the guise of the buxom Tomb Raider, and she's clearly got The Sun's readership sussed.

"I’m single and having fun, I’m not looking for a long-term relationship as most men can’t keep up with me," giggled Alison.

"But playing Lara Croft, the sexiest game heroine there is, should get me a few more dates!"
