Blizzard big-wig Mike Morhaime has told investors in the game maker that word on the firm's new project will be kept secret for the time being, in order to stop the stealing a march on the developer.

Morhaime was speaking at an conference call last week, and said: "Blizzard has begun staffing on another unannounced massively project but for competitive reasons, we are not able to share any additional information on that project at this time."

Rumours abound that the new title could be a 'World of Starcraft' style spin on their popular space-based series. There's also also talk of a visually-enhanced in the pipeline, although we're not expecting anything on this until the Lich King add-on arrives this winter.

We'll keep our noses to the ground for word on this.
