Shigeru Miyamoto and co. promised us Music this festive season during their E3 briefing a couple of weeks ago, and of have now dated their latest opus.

Wii Music will be out by year's end in Japan - October 16th presently being the date banded around by Kotaku.

It is unclear if PAL region gamers can expect the new game this side of the festive season; although we do know that the game is part of Ninty's 2008 line-up in North America.
