Taking a bit out of the 360's online-lead, SCEA today tell E3 attendees that the PlayStation Store now includes a range of video content.

The downloadables will come in standard and HiDef forms; for rental or full purchase.

Movie and TV content will be available, with major Hollywood content partners announced: Pictures, Fox, MGM, Lionsgate, Warner, and Paramount.

Content starts from 1.99 USD, and you can also move the videos over to the handheld. The same content is available via the edition of the PlayStation Store, as well as via the of course.

The big news? The service will go live tonight on the PSN.

More on this from LA.
