PS3 more compelling than Xbox 360 - analyst
Let the back-stabbing begin...
Bloomberg are today citing Signal Hill analyst Todd Greenwald as stating that there are now more reasons to buy a PS3, rather than an Xbox 360 games console.
The two formats are locked in a tussle for the hardcore gaming market, while Nintendo runs away with the casual crowd, both firms claiming victories in different parts of the world.
"For the first time since the console launched, I really think there’s more reason to buy a PS3 than the 360," the influential exec advised.
Microsoft were of course rather put-out by this statement, MS spokesman David Dennis retorting: "This race is far from over and we are confident that we have a winning strategy."
Microsoft will outline their future plans in an E3 briefing later today.
